Each of us is a product of our past experiences and how we adjusted to life along the way. But who am I beyond all that? Is it possible for me to live a life that is not reflexively oriented to my past?
When I step outside the story that maintains my personal identity I enter the realm of experiencing life as it is in each moment, and the possibilities it offers.
The ongoing practice of observing and being with whatever we are experiencing, beyond the limited perspective of our persona, creates new pathways in the mind that strengthen that capacity for being present at all times.
Loving is taking action to support the survival and well-being of oneself or another living being. Five meaningful ways Love can be conveyed in relationships are attention, acceptance (non-judgment), appreciation, affection (closeness), and allowing (trusting). A regular practice offering these to ourselves and others brings a sense of joy into each experience.
Loving whatever is being experienced allows a flow of life energy within us that seems boundless and inherently creative, which extends to whatever we are in relationship with. Why not choose to live each moment as the aware Loving Self that you are ever becoming?
